Free dental screening for children and youth 17 and under

Public Health Sudbury & Districts is offering free dental screening for children and youth 17 and under (PDF, 206 KB).

A registered dental hygienist will provide a visual dental screening to identify signs of urgent dental needs. Dental screening is not a full checkup, but it is a quick and efficient way to determine the condition of an individual’s oral health.

If follow-up with a dentist is recommended, we can help you find one. If you don’t have dental coverage and can’t afford dental care, we can find out if you qualify for financial assistance through Healthy Smiles Ontario.

No appointment necessary! Drop into 1300 Paris Street any Thursday in July or August, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Remember to wear a mask and stay home if you’re sick or isolating.
