March is Nutrition Month!

Rushed mornings, no time for a lunch break, afternoon slumps, and end of the day dinner struggles can make it difficult to eat well.

Each year in March, registered dietitians across Canada promote Nutrition Month messages in an effort to increase consumer awareness of healthy eating and sources of credible nutrition information. This year registered dietitians will be inspiring Canadians to eat better at work and make other positive changes for a healthier workplace.

Do you have some helpful tips to eat better from 9-5?

Participate in the SDHU Nutrition Month Social Media contest! Each week a question related to one of the Nutrition Month themes will be posted on our SDHU Facebook and Twitter pages. Contestants will be asked to submit their ideas by commenting on our Facebook post or by tweeting us on Twitter for a chance to win a cooking essentials gift basket. To enter each weekly draw, responses must be submitted before noon each Friday of March. Winners will be drawn at random and will be contacted by direct message on their social media account.
