Volunteer opportunities

Every day, Public Health Sudbury & Districts’ volunteers assist staff members with the delivery of programs and services that promote and protect health and prevent disease.

We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities. This includes students (with or without work experience), families, seniors, full or part-time working adults, unemployed adults and people with disabilities.

Circles® Allies

Circles® is a program with a focus on building relationships between people from all income levels as a way to help individuals and families living in poverty. Volunteers, known as Allies, are crucial to the success of this program, designed to help support individuals as they move from poverty into financial stability.

Greater Sudbury Emergency Response Volunteer Registry (GSERV)

GSERV is designed to coordinate community volunteers who want to help when disaster strikes in Greater Sudbury. The registry includes the names of volunteers along with the skills they would like to offer in assisting professional emergency responders and agencies during a disaster, emergency, or pandemic.
