Floating on a Cloud – Music: Lonely Spaces

Sit comfortably, close your eyes and listen to your breathing.
Put your hand on your chest and take a deep breath in.
Feel your chest rise up, and then slowly deflate as you breathe out.
Keep breathing, letting your chest rise and fall, rise and fall.
Imagine yourself on a hammock, slowly swaying back and forth, back and forth in the dark night air.
Notice the stars that cover the sky. They sparkle and twinkle as you gaze upon them.
Hear the soothing sound of the water splashing softly against the shore.
Take a deep breath in. Smell the fresh air as you breathe in through your nose.
Feel the hammock swaying in the soft breeze as if you’re floating on a cloud up to the night sky.
Imagine you feel weightless and carefree on a fluffy cloud.
Feel the peace and serenity wash over you.
You feel calm and comforted.
You feel your body relaxing.
All the tension leaving from your neck, your shoulders , your back and your legs, as you float up to the stars.
Slowly redirect your attention back to your breathing.
Breathe in slowly through your nose.
Breathe out slowly through your nose.
The fluffy cloud you’re floating on begins to slowly descend towards earth.
You have safely returned to earth feeling refreshed and renewed.
