Preparation for Circles and self-sufficiency

Are you ready to exit poverty?

Public Health Sudbury & Districts in partnership with agencies across the community is offering two free linked programs to help you prepare an action plan and goals to get out of poverty.

Attend Circles Leader Training before joining Circles

Circles Leader Training is a 6-week program (2 hours, 2 times per week), where participants identify a self-sufficient future and steps and goals along the way to help them to go from surviving to thriving.

In Circles Leader Training you will learn more about:

  • The Circles program
  • Causes of poverty
  • Hidden rules of economic classes
  • Goal setting
  • Money tips
  • Networking and the importance of building relationships

Join Circles

In the Circles program you will:

  • Develop a plan and goals to exit poverty
  • Be matched with two caring volunteers to support you with your goals
  • Attend Circles meetings that include a free meal and childminding
  • Increase your social networks
  • Work with Circles staff to connect you with resources and provide coaching
