Holiday hours for Public Health Sudbury & Districts’ programs and services

Public Health Sudbury & Districts is sharing details on office hours, COVID-19 vaccination clinics, and COVID-19 data reporting over the holiday season. Our office locations are closed on statutory holidays; however, Public Health maintains a 24-hour message service for public health emergencies.

Offices

Public Health’s offices in Chapleau, Espanola, Greater Sudbury, Manitoulin Island, and Sudbury East will be closed on the following days:

  • Friday, December 23, 2022
  • Monday, December 26, 2022
  • Monday, January 2, 2023

Note: for public health emergencies that require an immediate response after hours or on public holiday closures can be reported to Public Health by calling the main office and following the prompts.

COVID-19 vaccination clinics

Details about Public Health COVID-19 vaccination clinics are available online at phsd.ca/COVID-19/vaccine-clinics. Of note, clinics are not being offered on the following dates:

  • December 23, 24, 25, 26, and 31, 2022
  • January 1 and 2, 2023

COVID-19 vaccination may also be available through select primary care providers or at participating pharmacies. A reminder that the influenza vaccine, like the COVID-19 vaccine, is safe and effective and is readily available at many locations throughout the community.

COVID-19 data reporting

Data reporting for COVID-19 cases, vaccinations, testing, and hospitalizations, will not be available Friday, December 23 to Monday, December 26. Data will be posted Tuesday, December 27. In addition, data will not be posted on Monday, January 2, and reporting will resume Tuesday, January 3.
