Current Work Location Arrangement: Partial On-site – The position requires a combination of regular on-site and remote work. Reasons and schedules can vary, but worker attends on-site regularly (for example, each week).
Please note as this position requires regular presence on site, candidates need to reside in Sudbury, Ontario, area or be willing to relocate to this area.
Salary: $95,186.00 – $108,781.40 annually

Position summary:

Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology, the IT Systems Specialist – Applications & Server Infrastructure role is responsible for the design and support of the IT applications and server infrastructure including the implementation, maintenance and on-going patching of the infrastructure, maintaining operating procedures, and ensuring the alignment of the infrastructure and applications with business needs. The incumbent will also act as a liaison and advisor between the business unit, the technology team while ensuring information systems interoperability in accordance with agency policy. This position is also responsible for backing up the Information Technology team members.
