Location: Elm Place site – 10 Elm St. Unit 130, Sudbury
Work Location Arrangement: Fully On-site – the position requires 100% on-site placement; it is operationally dependent based on established criteria; remote work is not an option.
Salary: $39.59-$52.10 per hour (as per ONA collective agreement)

Position summary:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated health professional to contribute to our organizational mission of working with our communities to promote and protect health and prevent disease.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Public Health Nurse will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating Health Protection programs within Public Health Sudbury and Districts. The incumbent will work cooperatively with agency staff, community partners, and individuals to provide the leadership and nursing expertise required for program planning, delivery and evaluation.

The assignment is with the Sexual Health team focusing on planning, implementation, and evaluation of programming to prevent and control sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs) and to promote healthy sexuality practices and safer sexual practices for priority populations, cases and contacts.
