Underwater Tranquility – Music: Age of TranquilityIssued: Wednesday, June 10, 2015
Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Listen to your breathing.
Imagine that you are sitting on the edge of a large boat with your feet dangling in the water.
Breathe in. Close your eyes and prepare yourself to dive.
Picture the number 3.
Breathe in again. As you breathe out, picture the number 2.
Breathe in again. As you breathe out, picture the number 1.
Ready yourself and jump off the boat.
You are now completely under the cool, blue water.
Through your scuba mask, notice the many varieties of coloured fish.
Notice how weightless you feel as you relax your muscles while slowly descending deeper.
Notice the plant life beneath you.
Notice the soft hum of your oxygen tank as you take deep breaths. Exhale. Follow your bubbles to the surface.
You look up and see the sun. You see the water droplets making ripples on top of you.
Each ripple makes the slightest shimmer.
Lay on your back as the rays of light from the sun warm your face as you near the surface. Feel the warm breeze of salty air as you lift yourself back onto the boat.
Know that this place is available to you anytime.
Wiggle your toes, and when you’re ready… open your eyes.
