Sitting on a Beach – Music: Imaginary Friend

Sit comfortably or lie on your back.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose. Slowly breathe out through your mouth and let your imagination take over.
Picture yourself sitting on a grassy hill overlooking a beautiful beach that extends as far as you can see in both directions.
Just beyond the beach there is a clear blue ocean that blends with the horizon.
Stand up and walk down the hill and onto the beach.
Notice the feeling of the warm sand under your feet.
Notice the pretty seashells stuck in the sand.
In the distance you can hear the sounds of families enjoying their day at the beach, the laughter and happy sounds.
Take a few more slow steps until you reach the water.
Notice the feel of the cool water as the waves wash over your toes.
Take a few deep breaths…..
Notice the smell of the salty ocean air.
You feel relaxed… take this feeling and make it last… cherish it.
Bring the feeling with you as you ready yourself to leave the beach.
