Food recall warnings

Food recalls are issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) when there is a potentially unsafe food that has entered our food system. The CFIA is the primary resource for all food recalls in Canada, especially products with possible or confirmed microbiological contamination.

Food recalls are issued for your safety and should not cause panic. The most important thing you can do to protect yourself and your family is be informed and pay attention to guidance issued by authorities during major food recalls.
