Anyone can get the flu so it is important that you protect yourself and the most vulnerable among us by getting the flu shot Public Health Sudbury & Districts offers flu shots every year.

Public Health recommends everyone over 6 months of age get the flu shot to help keep themselves and their community healthy. Flu shots will be available from health care providers, walk-in clinics, public health units, and over 50 local pharmacies every year in the fall (usually late October or early November).

Getting the flu vaccine can help, especially for those who are more likely to experience complications from the flu. By keeping people healthy, the vaccine also helps reduce the burden on the health care system and ensures health care resources remain available.
