Update: Changes to Ontario Public Health Standards webpage and the “Botulism Guide for Health Care Professionals”

FOR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION

This Advisory Alert is to notify local health system partners that the Ministry of Health has updated their website. With this update comes a new link to the Ontario Public Health Standards. The Ontario Public Health Standards can now be found on the Province of Ontario’s website page.: https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontario-public-health-standards-requirements-programs-services-and-accountability

Additionally, minor changes have been made to the Botulism Guide for Health Care Professionals. These changes include an update to the name and mobile contact number for the Botulism Reference Service (BRS) lab. This updated information is located on page 13 of the document. https://files.ontario.ca/moh-ophs-ref-botulism-guide-for-health-care-professionals-en-2023-12-01.pdf
