Public Health Resuming Routine Immunization Services

Phased Resumption of Public Health Sudbury & Districts’ Routine Immunization Services

I am pleased to share that starting the week of March 7, 2022, Public Health Sudbury & Districts will begin a phased resumption of publicly funded immunization services that were paused in January 2022 due to the COVID-19 Omicron surge response.

The first phase will prioritize individuals eligible for high-risk vaccination programs and children overdue for routine vaccines. Vaccination opportunities will then be offered for children, youth, and adults who are due and overdue for other publicly funded vaccines, as well as restarting our school vaccination program. Refer to the table below for timelines.

Thank you for your continued efforts to provide routine publicly funded vaccines to your eligible patients during the pandemic and beyond. It is truly a team effort to continue to ensure protection for infants, children, youth, and adults through vaccination.
